Hi everyone! As you might have noticed, I have not been updating for awhile. So in advance I'll apologize for not remembering the correct dates of things. But I do that today is January 9 2007. Alright I'll start with going on block leave.

BLOCK LEAVE:

Lets see I took about 17 days of leave from New York here to go down to Houston "exclusive" Texas. I heard the word exclusive being used on 979 the box. Their motto is can't stop won't stop. I'll expalin a little about this in a moment. On leave I spent my time doing three things! They were spending time with family, friends, and working at my father's restaurant. I spent time with my lil cousin Philip. His actual name is Andy, but I call him Philip just like how I call the family dog Precious instead of her actual name. I went to a couple of family birthday celebrations. I spent Christmas at my cousin Rachel's house. Before that though we as in my primary family with the exception of my sister and eldest brother went to go to my grandmother's grave to pay our respect. After that we went to eat dim sum. Then I took some my little cousins to my parent's house to play some nintendo Wii. I think they had a good time. I was gone during that time period, because I went to go deliever gifts that I had brought to my friend's house. Lets see I think I went to Mike's house first. I gave him his gift and left. Afterwards I went to the twin's house. I call these two people twins because of the obvious. They weren't home though, so I went to Robert's house and chilled there for some time. I got him a couple of political books. I think he liked them. Anyways I went back to twin's house and dropped off their gift cards to their dad. Then I went to Huy's house to give him his gift. However they were about to eat, so I stayed over and joined them. Huy made a pretty good turkey this year. So finally I get home. And by the time I got home my little cousins were already taken home by my parents. So my older brother and I went down to Rachel's house. I don't think my brother did much socializing there. I had a good time playing with my little cousins...no homo! We played with a mini football and soccer ball I got for one my cousins. But they ended up in the gutter. For my other cousins I got him a couple of Texas pride hats. One was a houston rockets hat, and the other one was a UT hat with his name on the back of both. Lets see I don't remember what I did before between Christmas and new years. I do remember sleeping at 1150ish on New Year's eve. Lets see I hung out with friends. We went to the movies once, and we saw Casino Royale. That movie was alright. We spent most of time playing the Wii. We only played Basket Ball once, tennis once, and minature golf once. We did go eat out some also. So yeah that's about what I did in a nut shell. I will say that I was happy to be back, and that I was happy to see most of my friends.

About yesterday: I totally forgot that it was my sister's birthday yesterday. The reason why was because I did so remarkably well on PT test that morning. I got a 264 out of a 300 on my PT test. That's the best I have ever done before. But I did remember her birthday the weekend prior to yesterday. So Happy Belated Birthday Bing!

Christmas Gifts: The gifts I got this year were nice, but for future refence the only thing you really should get me is a old navy gift card, or something I could use. Though I'll admit that the presents I got from my brothers were pretty cool. The nintendo DS lite is cool and this little dragon statue I got. I guess you could say that it's my evil sprit chaser. And Huy I can't get that game of yours to load up! Michael that game you got me seems really badass kinda like a PS2 version of Shenmue. I haven't played it yet though. I have GTA: San Andreas to beat and various other games to beat first. And Duy that cooling fan is nice, but it's too small. Well thanks for the gifts everyone. They were cool, but I have too many computer games and PS2 games at the moment. Soooooooooooo for my birthday that is if you choose to get me anything get me a old Navy Gift Card or something I could use. Or even a little card to show me that you care is good enough. There's no need to spend too much money on little ol me.

P.S. Tomorrow I'll put up my reflective thoughts of my life so far. So see ya tomorrow folks!

That picture of me eating a snowball is to remind myself of the delightfully fun Christmas of 04. For starters it was the first time that it snowed in Houston for awhile, and I just had a blast hanging out at my cousin's house for christmas. I don't eat snowballs when it snows up here in New York...because it's filled with germs.

I haven't updated for some time, so here it goes. I don't even remember what I did sunday. I think I went down to Syracuse Mall and just chilled there with some friends. Monday and Tuesdays were really fun days. I got to do some awsome infantry stuff on monday. And on tuesday I got to shoot a grenade launcher. That damm things got a mean kick to it. I got a bruise from it on my right arm. I'll show you when I find my camaera. Wednesday was alright. Tomorrow is gonna be fun. We are going to be rucking for 8 whole miles.........whooo hooo.

P.S. Robert I don't have a best friend just a few close friends. I'm using this system to guage my friends right now. Close Trust Friend Aquitance Aware.

Wow it's been a long time since I updated. Ahh so much stuff has happen, and I'll try to break it down. Well the saturaday after my last comment we went to an outdoor range to shoot our rifles. I didn't get to shoot til the end because I was a range safety. But boy I was glad I waited. I got to shoot too many rounds to count. It was fun, so I'll give a big YEE HAW to that. Lets see what else....hmmmm well the commander has some us volunteers do PT with him. It's great, because it push me to become more athletic. I'll admit it damm it. I don't have the tenacity to do work out on own to improve myself. I usually just play video games til the cows come home. Yeah it's something I enjoy doing. So I guess thats all I can think about. Oh wait I remember we had a mandatory fun day two fridays ago. I had my first time experince of playing real horseshoes there. And that game is fun. I remember I played a easier version of horseshoes on my friend graydon's birthday. Ahhh but that was so long ago. Well the best part of that day was that I got an award for my hard work at NTC, so Yay for me. Oh snap I almost forgot to mention this. Last Sunday was my first time playing Paintball. And man those paintballs hurt, but I would say that this way cooler then lazer tag. Well the lazer tag up here anyways. The laser tag areana off of the 1960 is pretty cool. Eh I thinks my memory went bad. I forgot the name of the road thats on Willowbrook mall. Oh well I suppose it was bound to happen. Anyways sorry for mistakes in my grammer and uhh I'll be back home for Christmas, so be cool and chill til then!  

Yeah today was fun. We got to shoot pistols and our rifles at an indoor range. I did better then I thought I would. And boy shooting any weapon at the crouching postion is tiring. So the lesson I learned is that doing all the stuff I see on Black Hawk Down is really tiring. Yep not much else. Maybe I'll be more in depth about my week later til then I'll see ya on the flip.
